11th book of 2020.
Didn’t know the first thing about pregnancy, and I’ve been on a kick with books based on studies for everyday health topic (How not to Diet, Why we Sleep), so this seemed interesting. Since we are not expecting a baby anytime soon, much of the information felt rote, but it’s good to know that the reference is there for when we are ready. Interesting factoids (to me)
*Some nausea is good *1/1500 chance of bacteria infection , wash all veggies *fish: omega-3s are good, mercury is bad. Eat small ones. *1/700 down syndrome, test in 1st trimester *take folic acid
